Leaving on a Jet Plane!

Tomorrow is the big day, we'll fly out of Chicago O'Hare on our way to Nairobi Kenya, with a very brief layover in the Netherlands. We've taken a lot of time to prepare and prep for this trip, but at the end of the day, I'm not really sure what all we have in store for us on the other side of the world. Getting ready to leave for a trip like this, especially when leaving your spouse at home, is really an emotional rollercoaster, but I'm confident that through this trip that we are all going to be refreshed, challenged, encouraged, and stretched, probably more than we can comprehend at this moment, but I'm trusting that every ounce of it will be good.

In our leaving, we'd appreciate your prayers for not only our safety, but also our success in completing not just "our" mission, but most importantly His plans for us while in Africa. We'll do our best to update you along the way via this blog and also I will personally be posting updates as often as I can on my facebook. Blessings to all.
